Clayeria unites the love for beautiful clay-things and the appreciation for mindful, slow and limited craftsmanship. We believe good company makes any moment unique and we are moved by setting an aesthetically pleasing fine table for an evening full of joy, good food and conversations with friends. We celebrate «Joie de Vivre» but never in a wasteful way.

What we believe in – One thing very close to our hearts is to work with small and independent labels, rather than mass manufacturers. We spot amazing talent every day and want to create a platform to celebrate and curate a collection of contemporary pieces made by some of the most talented artists around.

We want to encourage access to individual and handmade design treasures and we see it as part of our journey to make the end consumer understand and appreciate the value of hand-made products and visualize the work and passion that goes into every piece.

We act with awareness and commitment, striving to be mindful in everything we do and to conserve resources as much as possible. We believe in a company that is willing to do things differently, to show gratitude and to treat everyone with integrity and respect.

Faces behind – We are Carole and Jeannine, two interior and design lovers with a strong preference for beautiful ceramics. As passionate hosts and enthusiastic decorators of our own homes, we are always on the lookout for cool labels and inspiring artists who produce unique ceramics.

Throwing on the wheel ourselves we appreciate the craftsmanship and the beauty of creating something with our own hands. With our backgrounds of rather stressful and digitally focused marketing jobs, we enjoy the meditative effect that moving clay between our hands can have on us.
